Commodity Supplemental Food Program
(CSFP)

CSFP food packages distributed monthly to supplement the nutritional needs of low income:

  • Pregnant and breast feeding women
  • New mothers and infants
  • Children up to 6th birthday
  • Elderly at least 60 years of age
       (Must meet income elgibility requirements)
  • About $50.00 retail value
       (94% distributed to low income seniors)
The Emergency Food Assistance Program
(TEFAP)
  • Quarterly food assistance program
  • Food packages vary
       (All include protein, fruit, and vegetables)
  • Assist recipients with healthy food preparation
2008 Food Program Statistics

CSFP710,223 lbs of Food Distributed to 2,191 Households.
TEFAP325,114 lbs of Food distributed to 4,224 Households.
Total Food Distributed
1,035,337 lbs.
